Peppermint Kefir Frosting
This frosting is so delicious and super creamy. I love to use it for cakes and cupcakes and especially around the holidays so I can flavor it with peppermint. Don't use too much extract - a little peppermint goes a long way. If you don't like peppermint, you can omit it if needed.
- ½ cup Kefir Cheese If you don’t have any homemade, you can use Greek Gods Kefir cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 avocado skins removed
- ¾ cup honey
- ⅔ cup Coconut Cream or butter
- 1 teaspoon rum vanilla extract or regular vanilla
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt
In food processor or with hand mixer, mix first four ingredients until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients and process again until smooth and well mixed.
Spread or pipe on top of Kefir Christmas Cupcakes or anything else you want!
