Yogurt with Blueberry Compote
Ingredients
- 1 cup Yogurt Plus
- 1 pint blueberries – this is about 2 small packages of berries
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon slivered almonds

Instructions
- Set aside half of the blueberries, (one small package) place the other blueberries in a small saucepan. Mix in 2 tablespoons of maple syrup. Save the remaining tablespoon for when you serve the yogurt.
- Cover and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally until the berries start to collapse and release their juices. This should take about 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and add the remaining blueberries. The mixture will be thin until refrigerated.
- Transfer to a small jar and refrigerate until thick.
- Top yogurt with blueberry compote, extra tablespoon of maple syrup, and slivered almonds.
