The 12 Days of Kefir

I love the holiday season, and I created a video series called The 12 Days of Kefir. Each of these 12 videos highlights a festive Christmas recipe made with kefir. Filming them all within just a couple of days was an adventure—imagine preparing 12 recipes, shooting 12 videos, changing outfits and dishes for each take, trying to remember every single recipe, cleaning up, and then setting everything up for the next round. It was intense but also so much fun!

My goal is to show you how easy it is to incorporate kefir into your holiday traditions. I’m passionate about Christmas, staying healthy, and spreading happiness throughout the season—and I want to help you do the same!

In this series, you’ll find recipes like Kefir Snowtherland, Kefir Cheese Ball, Creamy Kefir Broccoli, Kefir Lemon Yule Log, Kefir Rice Pudding, and much more. Of all the cultured foods I enjoy, kefir is my absolute favorite. It has truly changed my life in countless ways and is so simple to make. Even after nearly two decades, I still prepare it daily and watch it ferment right on my kitchen counter.
